This Lake Como proposal was definitely a WOW one.
Set on the private rooftop of Villa Pessina, with an incredible panoramic view over Lake Como, the idea was to create something romantic, fashionable and completely unique. We started with elegant white flowers and a Prosecco tableโฆ and then kept adding more. And more. The groom wanted every detail to be special, so the setup grew into this incredible mix of fresh flowers, statement fabric flowers, and beautiful decorations.
The bride has an amazing sense of style, so the unusual handmade fabric flowers were the perfect detail to make the proposal feel a little more fashion-forward and different from the classic Lake Como setup.
I was involved in planning the proposal and bringing all the different ideas together, and although it wasn't the easiest one to organize, the final result was absolutely worth it: a luxury surprise proposal on Lake Como that felt intimate, stylish and seriously impressive.
And after all that planningโฆ she said yes.
The celebration didnโt stop at the rooftop. After the proposal, we continued with an elegant private boat photoshoot on Lake Como. Even the boat was decorated with beautiful flowers, creating another wow setting for their engagement photos.
We cruised across the lake at sunset and took some of my favorite photographs with the iconic Villa del Balbianello in the background. The soft evening light, elegant boat, flowers and Lake Como views made everything feel incredibly romantic and cinematic.
Before the boat, we also took some photos around Grand Hotel Tremezzo, where the couple later ended their evening celebrating the engagement. From the luxury rooftop proposal to the streets of Lake Como and a flower-decorated boat at sunset, it really became a complete Lake Como proposal experience. ๐ค
